What an incredible day for the Bartow community!
On Saturday, July 11, 2026, more than 170 volunteers came together for Paint Your Heart Out Bartow, the Bartow Community Redevelopment Agency’s first annual neighborhood revitalization project. By the end of the day, the group had painted 20 homes and one commercial property throughout the CRA district, refreshing the look of entire blocks and making a lasting difference for the residents who live there.
A Community-Wide Effort
Paint Your Heart Out Bartow was built on partnership from the start. In coordination with local painting professionals and community organizations, the CRA organized volunteer crews, supplies, and routes so that homeowners throughout the district could see their properties transformed in a single day. The event brought together residents, local businesses, faith organizations, and civic groups, all working side by side on the same streets.
The scale of the turnout reflected the spirit behind the project: more than 170 volunteers gave their time and energy, moving from house to house with rollers and brushes in hand, turning tired exteriors into freshly painted homes their owners could be proud of.
