October 5, 2026

Getting to local businesses, community activities and appointments is easier with Bartow Mobility on Demand (MOD), a transportation service launched October 5 through the Bartow CRA’s partnership with Citrus Connection.

Introduced as a free transportation option designed with seniors and residents with disabilities in mind, the program helps residents stay connected to everyday life in Bartow.

How MOD works

Bartow MOD provides unshared, curb-to-curb trips within its designated service area, with wheelchair transport available.

Service hours:

  • Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Check the service-area map before booking. Some destinations outside the mapped zone have additional trip requirements, so confirm that your pickup and destination qualify.

How to book a ride

Call 863-663-7432 to request a trip. Riders can also use the online booking link on Citrus Connection’s Bartow MOD page or the CC Progress In Motion mobile app.

When booking, ask about eligibility and any assistance you need. MOD is a curb-to-curb service; assistance between your door and the vehicle is not guaranteed.

Visit Citrus Connection for booking options, the service-area map and complete service information.
